PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL

TRANSITION STRATEGY & COORDINATION

I support private clients and families, professional athletes, coaches and sports staff navigating complex international transitions.

My work focuses on moves from the United States and the United Kingdom to Italy, and from Italy to English-, Spanish- and Chinese-speaking destinations.

From the first reality check to the first 90 days, I connect the practical, cultural, linguistic and human dimensions of the transition—so that your new life can work as a whole.

BEYOND RELOCATION

A move can be perfectly organised on paper and still fail in real life.

A visa does not create belonging.

A house does not automatically become a home.

A school place does not guarantee that a child will adapt.

A new job does not remove cultural pressure, communication difficulties or the impact of change on a family.

International transitions affect decisions, identity, relationships, routines, work and wellbeing.

That is why my work begins before the move and continues beyond arrival.

I help you see the full picture, anticipate the pressure points and build a transition that is not only possible, but sustainable.

TWO DIRECTIONS.
ONE COORDINATED APPROACH.

Where is your transition taking you?

Moving to Italy
From the United States or the United Kingdom to Italy

You may have found a property, imagined the lifestyle or started the formal process.

But living in Italy is different from visiting it.

I support private clients and families, professional athletes, coaches and sports staff in understanding the reality behind the move, making informed decisions and coordinating the people, services and priorities involved in building a life in Italy.

Moving from ItalyFrom Italy to the United States, China or Spanish-speaking countries

Leaving Italy requires more than documents and logistics.

It means entering a different professional culture, communication system, language environment and way of living.

I support private clients and families, professional athletes, coaches and sports staff in preparing before departure, understanding the destination and coordinating the appropriate expertise for the transition ahead.

THE MISSING CONNECTION

Relocation changes your address.

Transition changes your whole life.

Most international moves are divided among separate providers.

One professional handles immigration.

Another handles property.

Another deals with tax or employment. A school provides information.

A teacher helps with the language.

Each professional may do their job well, but the person or family moving is often left alone to connect the pieces.

That is where I come in.

I look at the transition as one interconnected system. I identify priorities, dependencies and potential risks, coordinate the appropriate professionals and prepare you for the cultural and human reality surrounding the formal process.

You do not simply receive another list of contacts.

You receive a strategy.

PRIVATE AND BESPOKE SUPPORT

For transitions with real complexity.

For private and professional transitions with real complexity.

I work with:

  • private clients, couples and families;

  • international families purchasing property or preparing for life in Italy;

  • second-home owners considering longer stays or permanent relocation;

  • entrepreneurs and executives managing complex personal transitions;

  • professional athletes and coaches;

  • technical, performance and management staff;

  • partners and families of sports professionals;

  • agents, clubs and professional sporting organisations.

Every transition involves different people, responsibilities, priorities and risks.

My work is private, confidential and bespoke—designed around the client’s real life rather than a standard relocation package.

THE COMPLETE TRANSITION

One transition. Many moving parts. One coherent strategy.

An international move involves decisions that are often managed separately but experienced all at once.

Depending on your situation, my work can connect:

Clarity before the move

Reality checks, expectations, feasibility, timing and the decisions that must be made before committing.

Place and daily life

Territory, lifestyle, services, routines, transport, schools and the practical reality of the destination.

Family transition

The different needs, expectations and adaptation times of partners, children and other people involved.

Language and culture

Practical communication, language-in-role, cultural expectations and the unwritten rules of everyday and professional life.

Professional performance

Preparing to communicate, work, lead or perform effectively within a different cultural system.

Specialist coordination

Connecting the contribution of legal, immigration, tax, property, education and other qualified professionals to the wider transition roadmap.

First 30/90 days

Supporting the phase in which the original plan meets the reality of everyday life.

About me

My name is Michelle Manias

I am Michelle Manias, an International Transition Strategist & Coordinator based near Treviso, in North-East Italy.

My background combines languages, intercultural communication, human performance coaching, international business and sport.

This multidisciplinary perspective allows me to understand both the practical complexity of an international move and the human dynamics that determine whether a transition will work in real life.

Before you organise the move, understand the transition.

Tell me where you are now, where you are planning to move and what still feels unclear.

Together, we will identify the priorities, potential risks and most appropriate next step.
